We are pleased to present, for third time, the work of JOSEP BAQUÉS, artist with rigorous technical training, imaginative and very personal and original style, while suggestive and sensitive.
With “The power of image and color”, the theme and color are integrated into a pictorial unity of unquestionable beauty, coming in a magic, mysterious and symbolic world, which concentrates the mixture of unreality and reality dreams transiting.
The inauguration, God willing, attended by the artist, will be this FRIDAY, 16th of November, at 19;30 h. Mr. Josep M. Cadena will be in charge of the critical commentary.
Inauguration of Mejan (October 26th 2012)
The time has come to present to the public Mejan’s “China of my heart”. The artist is very enthused over this new theme that fills with colour the Rusiñol Gallery. Without abandoning the style which we have become used to, he has dared to prepare some oils to show his feelings regarding a journey he made to China in early 2005.
